Seasalt's Signature Salt Recipe

Tuna Tartare

Seasalt’s signature salt makes all the difference to this fresh and zingy dish. Delicious to eat with crackers or sushi rice!

• 3g Seasalt's signature salt

• 200g fresh tuna

• 1 tsp lime juice

• Zest of one lime

• 10g fresh avocado (finely chopped)

• Tabasco – to taste

• Pinch of black pepper

• 5g sesame oil

• 5g sesame seeds

• 5g spring onions (thinly sliced)


1. Cut the tuna into small cubes to your liking.

2. Mix all the ingredients together well in a mixing bowl.

3. Keep chilled for 30 minutes before serving.


Seasalt Chicken Teppan

Seasalt’s signature salt elevates the flavours of this dish well. Enjoy!

• 3g Seasalt's signature salt

• 200g boneless chicken leg

• 50g light soya sauce

• 10g sesame oil (olive oil may also be used)

• 5g grated ginger

• 10g lemon juice

• 20g sugar

• 5g dark soya sauce

• 30g water

• 5g garlic


1. Mix together all ingredients except the chicken leg.

2. Pour the mixture into a saucepan, let it reduce for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool down.

3. Add the boneless chicken leg to the saucepan and leave it for 4 hours to cure.

4. Heat up a pan with sesame oil and sear the chicken leg on both sides until brown. Add the liquid to marinate the chicken and cook until the chicken is well cooked.

5. Slice the chicken and serve with steamed white rice.


Chocolate Fondant

A taste of paradise for chocolate lovers, rich and decadently delicious with a hint of Seasalt’s signature salt.

• 3g Seasalt's signature salt

• 250g dark chocolate

• 250g unsalted butter

• 4 whole eggs

• 8 egg yolks

• 50g cake flour


1. MIXTURE A – Melt the dark chocolate and butter together, then add the cake flour and mix well.

2. MIXTURE B – Beat together egg yolks and whole eggs until fluffy.

3. Combine Mixture A and Mixture B together with Seasalt's signature salt, and stir well using a wooden spoon.

4. Scoop the mixture into muffin cups.

5. Bake for 12 minutes at 200°C.
